Peter Rock
When my father stopped drawing Dan Dare and Road of Courage for Eagle, he embarked on a number of
alternative projects which, for various reasons - primarily involving the internal 'politics' of the situation with
Mirror Group - were never taken up. Peter Rock was one of those proposed strips. Its relatively 'finished' state
may indicate that my father believed that this one would be published. As can be seen on some of the
illustrations, the character was originally going to be called 'Mael Strom'.
